Ata College now continues to provide education

With the support of Baltech Group, Ata College overcame the difficult period after the earthquake and came back to life.

Ata College, a well-established school that has been serving in the field of education since 1962, reopened in the 2023-2024 academic year. This special turnkey project started with a commemoration ceremony for the Foundation President, 2 teachers, 26 students and 2 employees who the school lost after the disaster on February 6.

At the opening, school principals Şenda Solmaz and Mustafa Yaşar Tangüleç emphasized the importance of Ata College and that the revival of Antakya is based on education and health institutions. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ata College Foundation Dr. Cem Tosyalı, played an important role in the realization of the project. While Dr. Cem Tosyalı’s emotional speech impressed the participants, the show titled “Ata College Rising from Its Ashes” received great applause. KOMED president and members also contributed to this special event. The ceremony ended with the singing of the College Anthem with pride and happiness.
