Volkan Gerdan, Head of Energy Investments, has extensive experience in energy engineering, energy efficiency, renewable energies, energy management, sales and marketing.   

After graduating from Austrian High School, he completed the Mechanical Engineering Department at Istanbul Technical University in 1999. Gerdan, who started his career as a sales engineer at Bosch Termoteknik A.Ş. in 1999, served in different positions in the same company as Turkey Sales Manager, Middle East and Turkey Sales Manager and finally Turkey Sales Director.   

After working as the Country General Manager of IMI Hydronic Engineering in 2013, he founded his own company, VGG Enerji, and continued his activities there as the Director of Enspire Energy Solutions, which he founded at Entek Elektrik Üretimi A.Ş., Koç Holding.   

Volkan Gerdan, who has assumed the position of Head of Baltech Group Energy Investments since September 2023, has carried out many successful organizations on clean energy-oriented investments and business models, especially renewable energy and energy efficiency, throughout his career. Gerdan is married and has one child.
