With his rich career background, Ilgar Rahimov, continued his education at the Azerbaijan State Petroleum Academy between 1986 and 1994 and studied Oil and Gas Industry Economics during this period. He started his career as an economist and accountant in 1989 and worked as the Credit Department Manager at Emanet Bank.  

In 1994, he continued his career in banking and worked as a Foreign Exchange Department Specialist at Shukur Bank. Later, he took the same position this time at Billur Bank and entered an important period in his business life in 1997. He worked as the chief accountant at Caspian Trans company and kept this position until 2002. He later added his experiences in accounting and finance to his positions as Financial Affairs Director at Azertrans and Turkey Finance Director at Almara. In 2016, he worked as the Head of International Projects Management Department at Azeryolservis and continued this duty until the beginning of 2018.  

Ilgar Rahimov has been working as a partner and General Council member at Num.Az since 2011, and in 2018 he took the General Manager position at Baltech Group. Reinforcing his versatility and success in his career with his education and language skills, Rahimov's experience and achievements define him as a respected professional of the business world.
